Thurston, Herbert. Superstition.
London: The Centenary Press, 1933.
First edition. 8vo. Publisher’s salmon pink cloth boards with white paper labels to spine and front board. Light scuffing and soiling, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Internally clean, minor foxing here and there. A stern yet learned treatise on the evils and origins of many common superstitions, amongst which a non religious belief in the spirits is mentioned as on par with spilling salt or opening an umbrella.
